Not necessarily. The Tor network often experiences latency issues, and popular markets like Drughub are constant targets for DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks. This can make the main entry node unresponsive.

Solution 1: Rotate Your Circuit
In Tor Browser, click the hamburger menu (≡) and select "New Tor Circuit for this Site". Do not restart the browser completely, just the circuit. Repeat this 3-5 times.

Solution 2: Use Private Mirrors
The main URL (the one everyone knows) is the most attacked. Drughub provides rotational mirrors that are updated every 6 hours. Check our Links Page for the latest active mirror.

Drughub utilizes a complex dDoS-guard captcha that requires a specific browser configuration to solve "Proof of Work" (PoW) challenges.

If the captcha image doesn't load or the "Submit" button does nothing:

1. Security Settings: Go to Tor Shield Icon -> Settings. Change security from "Safest" to "Safer". JavaScript is often required for the PoW calculation.
2. Canvas Size: Ensure your browser window is not maximized.
3. New Identity: Click the "Sparkle" icon (New Identity) to completely flush your session cookies.

In the darknet, there is no email recovery. Security is absolute. The only way to recover an account is via the Mnemonic Phrase (the 12-24 random words given to you during registration).

If you have the Mnemonic:
Go to the login page -> "Recover Account" -> Enter your username and the phrase. You will be allowed to reset your password and PIN.

If you lost the Mnemonic:
Your account is lost forever. The admins cannot help you. They do not have access to your private keys. You must create a new account. Any funds in the old account are inaccessible.

This is a security feature. If you enabled Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you cannot log in with just a password. The server presents an encrypted message block.

How to solve:

1. Copy the text block starting with -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----.
2. Paste it into your PGP tool (Kleopatra/GPG).
3. Decrypt it using your Private Key.
4. The result will be a 6-digit code or a string.
5. Paste that code into the Drughub login box.

This is the most common support ticket. In 99% of cases, you just need to wait. Monero architecture is different from Bitcoin.

1. Confirmations:
Drughub requires 10 network confirmations to prevent "double-spend" attacks. Each block takes ~2 minutes. Therefore, a deposit takes minimum 20-30 minutes to appear.

2. Check the Blockchain:
Go to a Monero explorer (like XMRChain). Enter your Transaction ID (TxID). If it says "Confirmations: 3", you must wait for 7 more.

Bitcoin (BTC) is a public ledger. Every transaction is traceable by companies like Chainalysis, Elliptic, and law enforcement agencies. Using BTC on a darknet market is a critical OpSec failure.

Monero (XMR) uses Ring Signatures, Stealth Addresses, and RingCT to hide the sender, receiver, and amount. Drughub has moved to an "XMR Only" policy to protect its users from retroactive blockchain analysis.

Escrow (Standard): You pay -> Market holds coins -> Vendor ships -> You receive -> You release coins. This is safe.

Finalize Early (FE): You pay -> Market gives coins to vendor -> Vendor ships. This is risky.

Only use FE if the vendor has a flawless reputation (1000+ sales) and requires it. If a new vendor asks you to FE, it is likely a scam. Once you finalize, support cannot help you get a refund.

Markets have auto-cancel timers. If a vendor does not mark an order as "Shipped" within 3-4 days (depending on market settings), the order is automatically cancelled and coins are returned to your wallet.

If they marked it "Shipped" but it hasn't arrived after the estimated time, verify the timeline on the order page. Once the "Auto-Finalize" timer runs low, you MUST click the "Extend Escrow" or "Dispute" button. If the timer hits zero, the funds are released to the vendor automatically.

Never send your address in plain text. Even if the market is encrypted, if the server is seized, your address is readable.

1. Go to the Vendor's profile page.
2. Copy their PGP Public Key.
3. Import it into Kleopatra.
4. Type your address in Notepad: "John Doe, 123 Main St..."
5. Copy text -> Kleopatra tray icon -> Clipboard -> Encrypt.
6. Select the Vendor's key.
7. Paste the result block into the order form.
